Indications:
Ferrous sulfate replaces in iron stores found in hemoglobin in red blood cells, myoglobin and other heme enzymes in the body. Additionally, ferrous sulfate allows the transportation of oxygen via hemoglobin

Uses:
It is used to increase the level of hemoglobin in the body.

Side effects:
GI irritation,abdominal pain and cramps,nausea,vomiting,constipation,diarrhoea,dark stool and discoloration of urine,heart burn
