Indications:
It inhibits the 3rd and last step of bacterial cell wall synthesis by binding to specific penicillin-binding proteins(PBPs) located inside the bacterial cell wall

Uses:
It is used in Burns,meningitis,sinusitis,tonsilitis,surgical prophylaxsis,Staphylococal skin infections,boils,abscsses.

Side effects:
Hypersensitivity reactions including urticaria;fever;joints pain;rashes;angioedema,serum sickness like reaction,haemolytic anemia,dirrhoea.
