Composition:

Metoprolol Tartrate 25mg

Indications:
Metoprolol tartrate selectively inhibits Beta-1-adrenergic receptors but has the little or no effect on Beta-2-receptors except in high doses. It does not exhibit membrane stabilizing or intrinsic sympathomimetic activity.

Uses:
This drug is used to lower the heart rate and to reduce the risk of high blood pressure, Angina Pectoris, Acute Myocardial Infractions, Diabetic nephropathy

Side effects:
The more common side effects that can occur with metoprolol include:
tiredness, dizziness, diarrhea, constipation, breathing problems such as shortness of breath, cough, and wheezing, bradycardia (heart rate that's slower than normal), reduced interest in sex, rash.
