How Metloc 25 works
Metoprolol tartrate selectively inhibits Beta-1-adrenergic receptors but has the little or no effect on Beta-2-receptors except in high doses. It does not exhibit membrane stabilizing or intrinsic sympathomimetic activity.
Common side effects of Metloc 25
The more common side effects that can occur with metoprolol include:
tiredness, dizziness, diarrhea, constipation, breathing problems such as shortness of breath, cough, and wheezing, bradycardia (heart rate that's slower than normal), reduced interest in sex, rash.
